After a good walk along the river to the Blue Door and back, we stopped here for a coffee and a sandwich. Good selection of sandwiches and cakes. We took some cakes back to Aberdeen with us, and they were affa fine.

Two adults & one toddler arrived late afternoon, but no mention was made of being near closing time. The service was very friendly & efficient. The hot chocolate was lovely & the scones were warmed! Delicious!I liked the decor which has a minimalistic 'scandi' feel. All in all, a lovely late Mother's Day meeting for my daughter & me.Kid-friendliness: We had my 2-year-old granddaughter with us (plus balance bike!) and she was made very welcome. The bike got parked out of the way at the side of the restaurant & a 'mini' hot chocolate was served.

Went out for lunch here with my elderly grandmother and they were very accommodating, sitting us near the door with plenty of space for her trolley. They were also great with mine and my mums dietary requirements which was really appreciated. Overall great service, really impressed!Dietary restrictions: I am vegan and my mum is gluten and lactose intolerant. Our server specially made something that we could both eat which was great.

We came for lunch on a busy Sunday and managed to get a space outside as we had our dog with us. The coffee is excellent (and I have high standards!) and we had a delicious lunch. The soup and sandwich were a big portion and both were delicious. I had the pastrami sandwich with lovely soft bread and the butternut squash and Stilton soup was up there with the best I’ve had. My partner had the beef burger, which was also delicious. Along with friendly, fast service this made for a perfect lunch. I hope we’ll be close enough to come back another time!

Discovered this Cafe while holidaying in the area. What a great find! Had delicious, deeply-filled sandwiches for take away, freshly prepared, very good value for maney. Staff super friendly and welcoming, all other things like cakes, coffees, freshly baked bread and items on the special menu all looked very intriguing, too! Hope to be back soon. Would highly recommend!
