We had our Christmas day dinner at the Fat Pheasant. The welcome was warm. The food was excellent, and the beer is something I can't comment on as I was driving...but it looked good.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at The Fat Pheasant. The staff were friendly and the pub had a lovely atmosphere with a real mix of clientele. I spotted a delicious looking venison dish when we came in and decided to have it for my lunch but asked for it to be well done as I’m pregnant. When it arrived it looked lovely but it only had three small pieces of venison much less than the dish I had previously seen. Lovely Sunday lunch. First visit and will certainly return. Good service. Lovely food and a well thought out menu. The highlights were the bang bang chicken starter and the venison main. Both delicious. Nice space. Good selection of beer and wine.
