We had two meals in the grill during our stay in the hotel both experiences were positive. Starters were really good and well presented. Mains for 1st night were rigatoni, which were large portions and high quality, full of flavour. Our server was lovely and very attentive. 2nd night mains fillet steak cooked to perfection, and my wife had spiced Dahl which she said was delicious, truffle chips with Parmesan to die for. Staff really professional and friendly, we will come again.

£12 for a starter and some mains at £26 seem just a little steep for a hotel in South Queensferry. However, the quality of the food almost justified the prices. The squid starter was extremely fresh and tasty; the fish and chips plentiful and melt-in-the-mouth soft and the apple tart desert was just right.
