Yes, went for carry out (it's upstairs in the restaurant): there were two ladies in front of me ordering and a middle aged women came over and asked me my order which I began, when...lo! the phone rang whereupon I was ignored and the call answered. We had a takeaway recently from the Chinese Village in Callander.We ordered the 8 inch salt and pepper box which contained chicken balls, salt and pepper chicken, spare ribs, spring rolls, salt and pepper chips and sweet and sour sauce. This was very tasty.We also ordered chicken satay on skewers, chicken noodle soup and crispy seaweed.We ate it all and I would recommend this Chinese restaurant if you ever visit Callander.It fed 3 of us for £27 which I thought was good value...read full review
Food was delicious and the staff were lovely. Portion sizes were more than enough. The interior was a bit outdated and the staircase area leading up was a bit unkept… but never judge a book by its cover, the politeness of the staff and the quality of the food more than made up for it.
