Worth the trip to Southend alone. Quirky traditional tearoom serving honest homemade food. Excellent soups and super filled sandwiches with glorious cakes and desserts. See picture, and this was a half portion! Super value for money and friendly service. Currently closed on Mondays and Tuesdays for the winter
As other reviewers have already said, this is one place that you should not pass by. First of all as you enter the place, it has the appearance of a small village store. But wait, there is more. Turn to your right and enter the tea room itself, sit yourself down, and get ready for a massive foodie treat. Well what can you say, great place, a jewel of Southend and Kintyre, if your in or around Campbeltown it's worth going that bit further down to get great cake, we will drive down from Lochgilphead just for the cake lol if going at the weekend it's worth booking your table,
