We just popped in to checkout the menu & the pub was empty - it was only 6pm & a very wet November outside. We asked about gluten free options & the chef not only offered to make me GF fish & chips but also to clean out the fryer once I asked about the oil... wow !. They then had Gf Peroni. Needless to say we stayed put & I am glad we did.My sister had the burger which was fat & juicy, on a good bun with good relish.. & on both plates the side salad had a delicious "French" dressing...read full review

Really enjoyed the food and the whole atmosphere. Lovely inside. Can’t understand the negative reviews. We didn’t experience any of what has been written. It was busy when we arrived and we were patient and were served in a decent time. Lovely Venison Burger. We also had both out dogs with its and it wasn’t an issue. Also other dogs in the pub and all welcomed.

Went with visiting family for a meal. Good menu but still not a full menu. A lot of quite expensive items and the drinks were expensive but we were happy with what we got. Although disappointed that there were no Fajitas and no Haggis Nachos. The buffalo loaded fries no longer come with chicken but the chef did put chicken through ours on request. Very pleasant staff. Was very tasty x
