The hotel was a pleasant experience. We were there for 4 nights and loved everyone and everything about the hotel and bar. We met Rob, the manager and he has put together a staff of family and friends that are delightful!The food was outstanding and the drinks were plentiful and priced right. All in all, after 2 months of travel in Europe we have the fondest memories of that hotel and Carnoustie. Going back next year for another dose of old Scotland. A great experience!! Visited earlier this evening for a family dinner. Service was excellent, as was the delicious food. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for fantastic value for money in a welcoming environment.

This is a hidden gem. The chef cooks each meal freshly. No frozen microwaves. Excellent food, beautifully cooked, served piping hot. Very friendly, accommodating and attentive staff.
