11 Park Ave, CarnoustieDelicious food accompanied by faultless service. Greetings from the restaurant manager upon arrival which set the tone of the evening. We had a mixed starter for two, followed by a tandoori mixed grill and a spicy chicken tikka Masala all of which was outstanding. Service we received from all staff was exceptional. 10/10 :)Parking: Large free car park just down from the restaurant.

7 Queen St, CarnoustieGreat atmosphere at weekends and advance booking is a must. Excellent authentic Thai cooking while making the most of local ingredients. Service friendly and efficient even when fully booked. Value for money nowadays is a bonus. Highly recommend.

Pavilion, Links Parade, CarnoustieOoh where do I start , out for a walk along the beach front and saw that they did take out. Went in and placed order. Decided to stay for a drink. Absolutely excellent service from the moment we entered to the time we left with our food. Staff were amazing and the food was so good. We will be back. Thank

Downs Holiday Park, The WeeCOOK kitchen Barry, CarnoustieGreat little place. Different menu and amazing pies. Not the cheapest though. But worth it. Could suggest mibbe some quorn or similar products for Veggie Breakfast. Will deffo be again.

104 High St, CarnoustieBeautiful fresh stone baked pizza ?.Pizza had always been tasty each time I’ve went and service is quick whether you’re collecting or having it delivered. They also have a mobile app so you can order from your phone.They boast the biggest pizza in Angus - 20” and it’s absolutely massive. Typically costs £25 with any 5 toppings of your choice but it’s half price on Tuesdays which is a big bargain.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options and you can also choose your own toppings.Parking: Free street parking right outside or alternatively there’s a few car parks within about a 2-5 min walk.

Links House, Links Parade, CarnoustieHad lunch here yesterday, and it was really good. We turned up without a booking, but managed to get in anyway.The menu is part bistro-ish part fine dining, but all fantastic. The liver parfait waffle was ridiculously good.Service was off the charts great, surprisingly so for a golf club. The staff are incredible, attentive and as professional as you get, but lovely with it.Looking forward to next time in carnoustie.

28 High St, CarnoustieWe just had a takeaway from here this Sunday afternoon, and it was just all we could wish for and more.Two delicious portions of Carrot and Coriander soup, one tuna melt panini, one bacon Brie and cranberry panini. Both 10 out of 10. They came with a delicious fresh salad, lovely crunchy high quality crisps, a coleslaw and couscous. Really just amazing- we enjoyed it all so much!!!They had a lovely selection of cakes. My Irish carrot cake connaisseur husband rated the carrot cake 9.5 out of 10 which is unheard of..The service was lovely, all the members of staff were so attentive and kind. A lot of little touches that just didn’t go unnoticed.Will look forward to coming back to this gem of a place again soon!! Wish I had taken more photos of the lunch but we dived straight in.I particularly liked how everything was served in compostable trays rather than plastic. The only constructive criticism was that the soup was a tiny bit too salty for our taste, but nonetheless delicious. Thanks for a perfect Sunday lunch!

Corner Hotel Restaurant
103-105 Dundee St, CarnoustieThe hotel was a pleasant experience. We were there for 4 nights and loved everyone and everything about the hotel and bar. We met Rob, the manager and he has put together a staff of family and friends that are delightful!The food was outstanding and the drinks were plentiful and priced right. All in all, after 2 months of travel in Europe we have the fondest memories of that hotel and Carnoustie. Going back next year for another dose of old Scotland. A great experience!! My only criticism is the hot chilli sauce for kebabs is slightly more like a salsa type thing than a sauce, and there’s never anywhere near enough of it for your food.Like other takeaways in the area, it feels to be getting more expensive, although nowhere near as expensive as Euphrates across the road.

124 High St, CarnoustieCongratulations on getting a good review from one of the world's leading Kebab eaters - Sir Crixus. You will be able to see Crixus along with LB the kebab eating vegan and the B Man himself, at this years National Kebab Awards. The B Man is VIP and will give an inspirational speech on why kebabs are the not only the tastiest of foods but the most important food in the world. It will bring a tear to the eyes of those with the blackest hearts and Vegans will be munching on Babs at midnight all around the world. Anyway Crixus recieved his tasty Bab in a massive Calzone box, 3 different sauces by its side and the donna was delicious and of Michelin star quality. Normally he gets a toy with his meal because he orders from the kids menu but tonight the Bab was fulsome and wholesome and fit for a gladiator. Well done on getting a review like this from Crixus. We like our Babs huge, with extra sauce just in case we have it for breakfast. Soggy pitta is a preferable choice of bread. The B Man.

44-46 Dundee St, CarnoustieThis review is for take away food. We were delighted with our food last night, best Chinese food in a long, long time. Everything was hot and fresh, no soggy vegetables. Although one of our dishes wasn’t on the menu, it was no trouble to make it and was prepared perfectly. Tofu can be over cooked but this wasn’t. Will definitely use again.
