I come here most weeks nice basic food. A negative comment is waitresses not been attentive, my tea was nearly cold before I could get any sugar after my meal I wanted a scone with my tea a waitress took my plate but no offer of would you like anything else so by the time I could get her attention I’d drank my tea so I didn’t bother. Yes it might of helped my Waite line but I ALSO REDUCES the cafes bank balance plus I prefer to leave a £ tip but not when it’s poor service....read full review
Lovely little cafe in Castle Douglas just popped in for a snack staff were very friendly and the toasted teacake was delicious my friend had the soup which was also good prices for the food are very good and looking round at other people eating the food looked really

Very happy with our lunch. I had mushroom soup and a cheese toastie. Wife had tina mayonnaise jacket potato. 2 teas. £18.45. Only thing I didn’t like is you have to wait to be seated. This means people queue with the door open so very draughty if your sitting near the door.
