North Gateway Cafe
North Gateway Daviot Wood Picnic Site, InvernessWe sat in the marquee side of the cafe. We have a reactive dog so need to sit somewhere out the way when we have her with us.
We were the only ones in that side, the main part of the cafe was full at that time. The staff were informative about where we could sit when I asked on arrival. I did not pre book, just turned up.
There were blankets for humans to use and keep warm in the marquee if needed. These were labelled clearly and rolled up neatly. We could see the woodland through clear sheeting in the marquee. Also, there was a bird feeder with all sorts of wild birds feeding on it too. There was music also in the marquee side.
We went for a signposted 5k walk in the woodland after.

Blacksmiths Culloden
1 Keppoch Road, Culloden, InvernessThe food was fantastic! The best steak and ale pie I had during our travels. My husband had the lasagna and said it was amazing. The desserts and halloumi fries were also delicious.
