This is a wonderful wee cafe. The coffee was excellent and banoffee pie, was the best I've ever eaten. The Victoria sponge was great too. Both cakes were baked on the premises All the staff were really friendly and efficient. We would definitely recommend a visit.
I very rarely write reviews, but this café is definitely worth a mention. What a gem of a place! Classy, quirky and unique. Lovely staff - really friendly and attentive. Great menu - we had a sourdough bread sandwich dish. Was top-notch. Also: lovely and tasteful decor, with some artistic touches (like the dried flowers on the table; the relaxing background LEDs). In summary, worth another visit; makes going to Dalkeith a bit extra special and stands out from the rest.

We went for lunch today and had the blue cheese and peppers ciabatta, and a ham and cheese toastie. Both of them were absolutely amazing! The combination of flavours was perfect. We also took some homemade white chocolate cake and banoffe pie home, both extremely good!The new owner is lovely and made us feel at home. It's also dog friendly! We will definitely come back!
