Lentel soup was hot, not too thick & not too WATTERY as in some cafe's & it tasted very nice. Then I had a baked tattie ? with coronation chicken & it tasted lovely & I was even able to eat the skin of the tattie, some cafe's u just cannie. My lattie could have been a wee bit more stronger & the rocky rd cake was more like a marsh mallow cake & BEWARE it is very sweet. Been a few times when passing for a bite to eat and cup of tea. Everything is always fresh and tasty from the home made cakes to the soup and sandwiches. The restaurant is set in an area where the view is fantastic and peaceful. The staff are always there with a warm smile and friendly hello. Definitely one for the list of you're in the area

The courtyard is a teeny bit off the main Rd, but it's worth the visit. Food fresh, tasty and very well presented, lovely coffee and cakes are amazing. Very clean, light & bright. Can't wait to take my wee grandson next time.
