A mixture of simple and sophisticated dishes made from fine local produce. Highlights were the cauliflower panna cotta starter, fresh langoustines, and the coconut panna cotta dessert. Compliments to the chef. And after dinner, you can retire to one of the finest whisky bars in Scotland.

Excellent food. It was hard to choose as we liked everything that was on the menu. Everything we had was really high quality, service was great, really friendly, professional and helpful staff. One thing to note is that before 7pm they only serve a smaller early dinner menu that we were not aware of, and because our booking was 6.30 that's what we had. It was very good but if you want the full menu make sure to book after 7.

Ordered from the early evening menu which was great value compared to a la carte. Lovely bar area. Real old world feel. Would be nice in winter with the fire roaring. Food was excellent. Portion sizes really good for starter. We had smoked salmon and soup. Both delicious. We went for the supplement mains. Steak and langoustine salad. Again both superb and worth the upgrade. Wine was also good quality and value. Dining room is also a lovely space. Staff attentive but not over bearing....read full review
