First visit while on weekend stay in area. Staff very helpful in describing the different dishes and helping us choose what we'd like. 2 adults having a starter and main plus an alcoholic drink came to less than £40 - however we found out that the restaurant was closing the next day but will run as a takeaway in a different area of the town (the lady we spoke to said it was only busy that night as regulars knew it was closing but generally outgoing costs were greater than income...read full review
My wife and I came up from Liverpool on Wednesday, and called in to the Hong Kong star restaurant, amazing food and lovely staff, so good we called again tonight Friday 11/11/22, the lady owner was great , many thanks Tony+carol xParking: Outside parking, no problem
First time we'd eaten here. We'd been at a rally on a rainy evening so were delighted to find the Hong Kong Start was lovely and warm. The staff were cheerful and nothing was too much trouble. We were given prawn crackers while we chose. Sadly they had sold out of sparkling water, so I had to have a glass of wine - very nice too.
