We've been here many times now and this is a great place to go for an afternoon of board games. They have plenty to choose from for free or you can go to their game and card shop next door and buy a new game to play in the cafe. We've done both options and had a blast! Cosy cafe with a friendly and chilled atmosphere, perfect to spend an afternoon to get some work done (student-friendly!) or hang out with friends and play one of the many board games which can be borrowed for free! Exquisite coffee and tasty lunch options/ snacks!

Found this wee place tonight after our plans to go to another coffee shop fell through. Dundee doesnât have enough indie coffee shops that are still open in the evening so very glad I found the Highlander Board Game Cafe and will defo be making regular visits going forward. The owner is super friendly and approachableâŠand pours a mean cappuccino! Highly recommended, defo worth a visit.
