We had steak pie, i did order the flat iron but had to send back due to it being over cooked. Waitress handled it well. Ordered gammon steak it was amazing, over all nice quiet cosy. We sat at table 14 our waitress was carrie, she was lovely, handled everything well, nice to speak to and very attentive. Thank you again carrie

Great pub and also has very nice food if you’re hungry. I got the steak pie today half expecting it to be one of the shortcrust pastry ones (that’s what Greene King places have given me in the past). Was pleasantly surprised when a lovely big puff pastry pie came out. Despite having loads of gravy already, it also came with an extra dipping pot of gravy.The food was absolutely fantastic and very filling.

Arrived on a Saturday afternoon when football was in full flow so bar was very busy, which we were aware of, as it is a popular pub.Ordered food and drinks on the app which was straight forward.The food was delicious and plenty of it.Our only issue was length of time to wait for our drinks as they arrived with our meals, we would have preferred them to arrive earlier, but considering how busy it was that has to be taken I to consideration.Staff did a great job keeping up with...read full review
