Fantastic Ferry Feast We booked a table here for a rare child free Saturday evening meal. I hadn’t eaten here for several years so wast sure what to expect, but given the Anchors good reputation for its food, we figured it was worth a visit. Really impressed by the festive menu and the service was excellent. Best steak pie I can remember having. Everything done really well, for example the chips were double, maybe even triple fried and awesome… and they don’t do that annoying thing where they give you like six fries as seems to be the current trend, there was a bottom on the steak pie which was filled with steak, so tender and not a bit dry and in a hearty, rich gravy. Absolutely brilliant, great drinks, good atmosphere, and the best chilli I have ever had, my wife had the the Highland Chicken , which she described as "divine and delicious" we had eaten at the best place in Broughty Ferry supposedly the previous evening, but this place was a far better place. Will we recommend The Anchor, will we return to The Anchor absolutely YES
