Came across this cosy pub on my visit down to broughty ferry. Honestly speaking I couldn’t have stumbled across a better pub. The staff make you feel very welcome on arrival and the pub its self is a very cosy environment. I stayed for food and ordered the steak pie. 5 stars for the food. Came out hot and flavourful. Would recommend. If you’re ever looking for a place for a bite to eat or a couple drinks royal arch is definitely the place for you in the ferry.

Lovely looking comfortable pub with beautiful stained glass windows and some interesting pictures on the wall right in the heart of Broughty Ferry. Friendly staff. Good to be able to have a choice of a couple of cask ales. Named after the sadly demolished Victorian arch that used to be in Dundee. There's supposed to be a fragment of it on display but neither of the staff had ever heard of it.
