This was the first time,but definitely not the last time I will be in this incredibly dicevingly bigger than it looks on the outside place.I walked in to a very friendly and cheery barmaid,who instantly made me feel welcome.It has a good range on offer,nice comfy seats,although some upholstery is needed on some of the booths.It even had an upstairs.Great vibes,give it a visit
Lovely food yet again. Hubby got the cajun chicken panini (not spicy or anything but really good) and I had the small steak pie. The steak pie pastry was slightly burnt but I wasn't that fussed as I usually don't have much of that anyway (maybe a bit from the middle) and I'm sure they would have got me a fresh one if I'd asked. The beef was lovely, def slow cooked as described - I'd have it again! Staff were pleasant, service was good.

Came in for a late lunch. My chips and salad were lovely, but the small haddock was tiny. The batter was dark and soggy, and I had hairs in my food. I didn't complain in case one was mine, but I'm sure one was within the fish as I didn't see it before eating.
