Very nice wee pub to have a meal in Dunfermline. We had our lunch in the bar downstairs. There are tables available upstairs too. It's a small cosy bar but big enough not to feel crowded whilst eating. The food that was served to us was exceptional. One of the best bar lunches we have had in a while couldn't fault any of it, the steak pie (stew with a pastry on top) tasted great, with really nice chunks of lean meat, no fat or gristle. Stopped in for a bar lunch while out shopping. Got seated no problem, and menus brought over. Drinks order done, tea and diluted orange. Food arrived 10 mins later, steak pie, chips and veg. Was really good and both plates cleaned up. No desserts this time.only downside was it was cold inside and kept my coat on while eating but it wont stop me from going back as everything else was good.
