We had Newcastle to Oslo return flights stopping via Aberdeen. I can't fault the airport - it's smallish but clean and efficient. The staff were all very helpful and polite, although we only had to disembark there on the return flight from Oslo to Newcastle, which we weren't notified of on the ticket. This was totally down to Logan air apparently and it was absurd: We had to leave the plane, taking all our hand luggage, collect the hold luggage, check in, go back through security...read full review
The airport itself is smooth, well staffed and effective at processing all the folk. But what it really lacks is a link from the nearest train station at Dyce which leaves little option other than an expensive short taxi fare which needs booking ahead. No rank at Dyce when we were there. For such a big airport not to have a connection with the trains needs resolving, particularly when you can see the runway from the train platform.
