Moved to Loanhead 3yrs ago and was delighted to find this sister pub of the Broughton Street Cask and Barrel on my bus route.Lovely traditional pub, loads of selection beer wise, always plenty of staff and lots.of screens for sport.It is a bit of a man's pub, but i like that and the mixed age crowd that drinks there do not make women feel unwelcome.Real ale,.comfy pub amd background sports. What's not to like!Not sure they do food, but the crisps have always been good!
Great pub on the Southside of the city. Excellent selection of beers and spirits. Decent pub if you fancy watching football on tv. Plenty of screens but still feels quite like a cosy local.
