On that day, we ended our four-day trip to the Scottish Highlands and on our first day back in Edinburgh, we wanted to eat Chinese food for some reason. Service felt a bit abrupt. No smiles. Food came quickly. I had the large bowl of chicken noodle and vegetable soup. Only cabbage, little flavor. The chicken was breaded and fried so breading was floating off and it gave the soup a funny taste. I've never had soup with fried chicken in it. Our other dish was the chicken dry pot. Jimmy’s Express is great!!We always make a point of eating here when we are in Edinburgh. Eaten here 6 times so far, always great food. We are fussy vegetarians and order various starters and sides, always made to feel welcome. It has become a wee tradition to visit here. Staff are always lovely.
