Really enjoyed our trip to the Jolly Judge. When we walked it in was very crowded but the bartenders still walked us through our drink selections. We found some seating with a lovely couple in the back who allowed us to keep them company. Within about 20 minutes it cleared out immensely but we stayed on for another round. Lovely little gem of a pub just off the Royal Mile. Planned on just stopping in for a little while but stayed for a few hours reading my book as the place was so cosy. Great atmosphere and lovely staff.

Proper old fashioned pub hidden within a historical alley. It is quite tiny but that is kind of its charm. Cozy carpet interior with a great cask and whisky selection.Nice and gentle staff. And prices are great for central Edinburgh.A hidden gem
