When we arrived there was some slight confusion over our booking, as to whether we didn’t want the window seat, which the servers had a small discussion over in front of us. We were sat down, with a small A5 menu, double sided with the menu printed on both sides. There was a key at the bottom of the menu for dietary information, but the menu failed to display any of them on their menu. So we have been ending the night here for the last couple of days, with a few drinks. The atmosphere is laid back and great to wind down. Tonight, we actually had some food, and that was really good as well. The staff has been friendly and inviting and is really attentive, unlike a neighboring pub, where I was passed by many times trying to get drinks after standing in line for at least 6 min(when I made it to the bar). I was perusing the menu in the lift after checking in at the Doubletree, Edinburgh and was thrilled to see a Sunday Roast. It stated that the POPULAR Sunday roast should be pre booked due to limited availability, so once in the room my husband got straight to it and booked us in.
