I came to Shinwari with my family for iftar buffet have been many times since it has been opened and there’s never been anything to complain about I’ve always left the restaurant happy, there is so much to choose from on the buffet from starters to mains to desserts, the rooh afzah is so refreshing, my favourite is Chapli kebab and the steamed chicken from the starters and the mains I love there charsi karahi, biryani and there curry pakora is so yummy it’s like home made...read full review

Visited Shinwari today with my family for the iftar buffet after hearing very good reviews. I must say these guys did not disappoint, from the friendly and welcoming customer service to the food - all was amazing. I must say this was the best restaurant for Pakistani/Afghani food by far in Edinburgh, tasted just like home which is a very rare experience at restaurants. Food - 10/10 Masha’allah the food served here doesn’t compare to any place else! Hands down the best Pakistani/Afghani restaurant. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and everything we tried was hot, fresh, tasty and absolutely delicious!Service - 10/10 The staff go above and beyond to make our visit memorable.
