Umi is close to the university‘s gs campus, which is convenient for me. It's my favorite ramen place in Edinburgh! I fancy spicy food so I always order the Spicy Fried Chicken Ramen! Highly recommended!
One of the best japanese restaurants I’ve ever been to. The food is so authentic and delicious, there wasn’t one dish my partner and I didn’t love! The interior of the restaurant was beautiful and the service was so good! I would definitely recommend booking a table, because it can get quite busy. Easily some of the best Japanese food I’ve had in Europe. The Katsu-Don was rich and flavourful and a particular highlight, along with the spicy ramen - both dishes couldn’t get much better. Doesn’t hurt that the atmosphere and decor of the place is nice as well!
