We decided to eat in the bar so glad we did, it was very nice warm and welcoming, I had the Haddock which was delicious and my husband had the Roast beef special which he said was equally as delicious.Naomi and Aymie are a credit to this pub.
We chose the Bonnie Beastie for family gathering of 15 , Service was friendly and helpful , timing of food for large group was excellent and quality of the Sunday Roast also very good. The Bar area was warm( unlike some previous reviews). There is a lack of choice of beers The new owners have lost the informality with drop in for a drink trade and opted for a more upmarket food experience. Ages since I've been here, but what a transformation following refurbishment. Pleasant little bar with nice staff and what looks like a separate dining area. We didn't dine but it looked very welcoming
