Anji's food is wonderful. Black Pearl Creole Kitchen would sit at the top of any list of 'Best Places to Eat' in Edinburgh or Glasgow, and we are incredibly blessed to have her tasty food here in Gairloch. It really is that good! She is a wonderful warm person and this shines through in her food; the spicing is beautifully balanced and it's hearty and delicious. The best food you’ll find on the NC500. Unbelievably delicious. Well worth the trip to Gairloch for. Highly recommend the ribs and sweet potato nests, although you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! Go if you get the chance. Booking advised.

Pretty random to find a creole restaurant in such a remote place, but what an hidden gem! Food was absolutely delicious and owners were lovely. Even better than anything we can find in Edinburgh!
