Links Café Gairloch
Burn Brae, GairlochReally friendly welcome for us and our dog. We had only popped in for a warm drink following a blustery walk on the lovely beach, but the cakes looked too nice! Others around us had proper food and the portions looked very generous. Several tables had windows with views and there was also a pool table and a well stocked bar! Easy to park and wood have been very easy to stay longer than we should. Highly recommended.

Black Pearl Creole Kitchen
Achtercairn, GairlochAnji's food is wonderful. Black Pearl Creole Kitchen would sit at the top of any list of 'Best Places to Eat' in Edinburgh or Glasgow, and we are incredibly blessed to have her tasty food here in Gairloch. It really is that good! She is a wonderful warm person and this shines through in her food; the spicing is beautifully balanced and it's hearty and delicious. You can tell how much love goes into preparing it. The restaurant is a family business and the service is friendly and relaxed. There aren't many vegan/vegetarian options but there don't need to be when the dishes are so good, the chickpea curry is wonderful and the sweet potato nests are off-the-scale amazing too. The jerk chicken is also a firm favourite. I know of many people who have visited Black Pearl Creole Kitchen on multiple occasions during their one week holiday. Very highly recommended!

Am Bard Cafe
Museum, GairlochFantastic lunch venue in Gairloch. Delicious and fresh dishes made from local produce. And the staff are so friendly and accommodating. And the home baking is mouthwatering and worth sampling - or they can wrap so you can take away!

Crumbs
B8021, GairlochBest ice cream I’ve ever tasted.Do not drive past this place and not get an ice cream. We had two cups of two different ice creams in both, one with Carmel and vanilla, the other had Nutella and mint chocolate. I would recommend every one of them. ??

Mo-Dhachaidh B&B
7 B8057, Inverasdale, AchnasheenWhat a beautiful B&B this was! The best place we stayed at so far while in Scotland. Very clean (unlike some other places we visited that were more expensive!), a breathtaking view from the bed- and breakfast room, and very friendly hosts! While it was cloudy during out stay, we still managed to see a wee bit of the northern lights, a lovely surprise!

Hillbillies Coffee, Bookstore & Trading Post
Gairloch, Wester Ross,, Strath, GairlochA lovely little coffee shop which is part of the bookshop next door, wasn't particularly busy and a little crowded, the people were friendly and the food good. Couldn't really visit the bookshop as it was too busy.Although I'm sure they would try to comply and help I don't think given the layout and space I could say this place is wheelchair friendly, and certainly not the book shop part.

The shieling
Macintyre Road, GairlochThe Sheiling....... Just as good as ever. Thoroughly enjoyed my time there. It's just one of those places where you can go and just chill out in your own space, even when other customers are enjoying their time together, it just seems to add to the freedom. As always the staff and owner were exceptionally pleasant and friendly. As well as being efficient of course!
