My husband and I stopped by here for lunch. The train ticket we had purchased had taken us to Tweedbank, but we quickly reboarded after realizing there were many more options to be had in Galashiels. Dave's was one of the places that popped up after a Google query. Despite having just made it past the lunch rush, the person at the counter was very cordial. Still my absolute favourite local place to stop by for something to eat. I've been going off and on for about 6 years now, and everyone in there is friendly and takes time to have a chat. They're always trying new things and welcome any ideas you have as well.
