Great food always. Staff are helpful and nice. Clean place to eat.Kid-friendliness: Kids menuParking: Carpark out the front. But behind there shop is a council car park. 50p for 2 hours.Wheelchair accessibility: No step at front door.
For a long time myself and my wife always had our all day breakfast at Tesco after her hospital appointments at the BGH.But last two times at Tesco the service and food has gone downhill quite a bit.So had a look round Galashiels for somewhere else, and landed at Macari's.Food and friendliness was excellent and service was very quick.All day breakfast at £5.50 includes a pot of tea or coffee. Beats Tesco hands down, food quality and price.Will make this our regular eating place...read full review

Lovely warm cafe on a cold and wet day, with an even warmer welcome from the owner and staff. The food is all home made and very good; the coffee and tea are both top quality.Dietary restrictions: Excellent for gluten free food.
