Ordered fish and chips and steak pie took a wee while to arrive steak pie was ok but I had to return my fish and chips as it looked as if the batter had been put into too hot oil and it had all puffed up so fish a bit dried out so advised I could not eat it so was asked if I wanted it with no batter but that to me forfeits the idea of fish and chips so decided to have mac and cheese after all its a simple meal what could go wrong or so I thought it was nice tasted but the cheese...read full review
Mr partner son and I went on a Sunday evening in August. It was busy with the outside seating area full.We were seated quickly, I had booked in advance. Drinks order taken and food order taken when the drinks were swiftly served.We ordered a steak each and a macaroni to share.The steak was delicious, the mushrooms and tomatoes tasty, but the peppercorn sauce and the tasty chips were the star of the meal. A favourite place to eat! It's just all fabulous....the food is the best have tasted in a long time, and we have been several times...great music and good atmosphere....feel always made welcome! And very relaxed here....well done guys!!!Xxx
