Found this little pub using google reviews whilst on our holidays in the area. Really friendly staff and owners giving it a personal touch serving delicious home cooked food. Worth calling in advance to make a booking as there arenāt many tables. Accommodated our dog too ?
Very friendly staff and a good choice of food. There is a real traditional bar at the front of this hostelry and you walk straight through to what was another bar which has been converted to be more of a restaurant. It was decorated very recently and the toilets were immaculate. Not many eating places in Stanley as it is quite a small place but we were visiting the Stanley Mill and wanted lunch first. Amazing as usual We live in the village, but travelled from Bristol after a trip away, and thought we would wait till we got home to Stanley to have a meal. As usual it didnāt disappoint, Julie and Kenny are amazing hosts, and the food was 5 star as we have come to expect. As the saying goes āThereās no place like homeā thank you both
