Wow! I have travelled a lot. And this place is above! What a surprise!
A few meters from the train station of Insch. What a perfect location to reach and travel the entire area from Inverness to Aberdeen. And less expensive than booking hotels there. The rooms are great. The bathrooms so comfortable. The breakfast is nice. And they do have vegetarian and vegan options on the menu.
I really recommend to stay there and travel this region by train! Will definitely come back! :)

Sat in tonight and had a beautiful meal, the service was great very attentive to my needs Lamb was brilliantly cooked, nan bread perfect Dansak beautiful. Great little restraunt.

Village Takeaway..... Don't be scared, the food is excellent. We had Chinese one night and Pizza a couple of nights later. Service can be a little slower, but quality is brill!

Came here for lunch around 3pm had fish and chips. Food was amazing. My partner was having abit of a migraine as we walked in and the member of staff with short hair.. was lovely. I didn't get a name sadly....... You was amazing!. Kind and caring. after some help etc and a drink off the staff member my partner perked up pretty quickly and was able to enjoy the meal..... So thankyou amazing service.

We ordered some sandwiches, sausage rolls and tray bakes for my mother in laws funeral and I can not thank the staff enough. The food was delicious and the staff we extremely helpful and very friendly. The spread we got was such good quality and well priced. I would highly recommend the Insch JGRoss they ladies there went above and beyond for us thank you

On Wednesday 23rd April '25 can honestly say I had the best fish and chips ever.
Freshly cooked, large chips (no shrapnel) and an amazing piece of haddock. Not a cumb left.
