The Station Hotel

Wow! I have travelled a lot. And this place is above! What a surprise!
A few meters from the train station of Insch. What a perfect location to reach and travel the entire area from Inverness to Aberdeen. And less expensive than booking hotels there. The rooms are great. The bathrooms so comfortable. The breakfast is nice. And they do have vegetarian and vegan options on the menu.
I really recommend to stay there and travel this region by train! Will definitely come back! :)

Cafe Mint

Sat in tonight and had a beautiful meal, the service was great very attentive to my needs Lamb was brilliantly cooked, nan bread perfect Dansak beautiful. Great little restraunt.

BLC Community Cafe

A great friendly place to meet and enjoy delicious homemade food. Very lucky to have this on the 'doorstep'.

Friendly staff, lovely scones and cakes.
Penty choice if you prefer lunch everything freshly cooked and never too long to wait.
Plants are all well looked after.
I always look forward to a visit to Kellockbank.

Village Takeaway..... Don't be scared, the food is excellent. We had Chinese one night and Pizza a couple of nights later. Service can be a little slower, but quality is brill!

On Wednesday 23rd April '25 can honestly say I had the best fish and chips ever.
Freshly cooked, large chips (no shrapnel) and an amazing piece of haddock. Not a cumb left.

We have been to different establishments over the last few weeks for Christmas meals .We both agreed that this turkey dinner was the best for taste presentation and value .Throughly enjoyed our lunch .
