17 Station Rd, Kemnay, InverurieWoke up this morning needing a cooked breakfast in my life, decided to take a little trip into Kemnay and try Cafe 83 for the first time. I was not disappointed, the Cafe is award winning and for good reason. Very welcoming and friendly staff, I arrived as soon as they opened and there was already a customer ordering a take away. Sat and ordered and by the time my food arrived there was already 5 tables seated, this is obviously a popular spot with them also taking reservations. I decided upon gluttony today and ordered their Big Daddy Breakfast, I don't think I will be eating again today. A beautifully cooked, completely fresh and hot breakfast with beautiful yellow yolked eggs, perfectly spiced haggis and all the other cook breakfast essentials, with an apple juice to accompany the meal. Comfortable seating, a nice atmosphere with background music and good conversations. Unfortunately not dog friendly, but it was kindly explained that as a small venue there had been complaints about dogs being present in the past so they had regrettably had to decide to ban our furry friends, understandable and I am thankful for the kind explanation.
10/10 will be going again, there was lots on the menu I wanted to try.

Church Ln, Kemnay, InverurieAlways a nice lunch, with friendly service and a great view of Benachie. Willing to try new ideas, enjoyed the chicken laksa. Limited choice of coffee and pancakes aren’t as good as what they used to be. But always enjoy the visit.

The Pitstop
A96, Pitcaple, InverurieFantastic place to stop for a snack and a cup of tea. Some may be intimidated by the quirky exterior, but don't be put off, this is an excellent little cafe with superb food at a good price. Plenty of parking. This would be especially good for groups of motorcyclists as you can see your bike from the table you're eating at.

Castle Fraser Tearoom
Castle Fraser, Sauchen, InverurieWe had a wonderful experience visiting Santa at Castle Fraser. Santa and his elf listened carefully to our children and made them feel special. My children loved their visit and really enjoyed doing their Santa lists and colouring in. Would certainly recommend this Santa experience.

Kemnay Chip Shop
16 Aquithie Rd, Kemnay, InverurieFood was amazing and plenty of it.
Kids had chicken nuggets and chips polished off the lot.
I had a jumbo haddock supper. There was so much I didn't manage to finish it.
Service was quick and efficient absolutely no complaints.
As for atmosphere, it was a chip shop, bright, clean and tidy can't really rate the ambience.

Yuners Kitchen
13 Kembhill Park, Kemnay, InverurieWe are from China originally and live in Kent nearly 20 years! It’s hard to find authentic Chinese home cooked food. Yuners kitchen took us a surprise. We are in the area for holiday. We ordered Tofu and two chow fin dishes. They are delicious and the ingredients are of very good quality. Very nice and highly recommended.

7 Station Rd, Kemnay, InverurieBeen going to the kemnay Chinese for the last 15 years or so and was delighted when I saw previous owners had re-taken over a few years back now! The village is very lucky to have a superb Chinese on its doorstep, I would highly recommend the smoked corn chicken and some extra chillies in the noodles are an absolute win!! Also like the fact the packaging is more economically friendly as this is often something missed in takeaways. Always helpful and friendly on the phone and in person and even when very busy they can always seem to manage your order in pretty quick time too so I have no complaints at all!
