Had dinner here on Friday 2nd September while we were staying at the Caravan Park, two couples and we had our dog with us who was made very welcome. We all had the fish & chips which was delicious, followed by Eton Mess and Chocolate Brownie Sundae. Well worth a visit if your in the area, staff all very friendly and approachable.

We were staying at Argyll Campsite and decided to eat at the on site restaurant, Skippers Bistro, which is open to non residents too. We had the sea bass and the homemade steak pie, both were delicious and as good as any we've had previously. Will definitely be back - particularly looking forward to trying the steaks which looked amazing. Really lovely, friendly staff too!
Brilliant hot stone fillet steak last night, very friendly, great service. Colin and Ann are great hosts. Looking forward to their breakfast.

We drive from far away to have their steaks but we been told that they don't have them available because it was Wednesday and they were not busy, so they didn't switch on the grill(?) We told her we drove from far away for the steaks and she said she could do it but we would have to wait for an hour.It should say it here so we could call her and ask her to get it on. Other than that food was OK and service OK too.On a side note the lock in the toilet didn't work...

We were staying at a B&B south of Inverarary and didn't want to drive all the way to town so we stopped off at Skippers. It is a prfectly nice restaurant with a very friendly and attentive staff. We had battered fish and chips and the meal was excellent, It didn't break the bank either. It was quite quiet but that was down to the time of year I think.
