We called to book a table but they were fully booked in the restaurant hich is a good sign. They were able to accommodate us in the bar. The food was delicious. I opted for the vegetarian risotto & my other half had a steak pie. The food was well presented and good portion sizes. Service was efficient too. We had been a little put off by some of the reviews but while staying locally thought we would give it a try and so glad we did.
We booked for a family meal. A Sunday evening, 6.15. The staff were welcoming. The kitchen was very busy obviously, as we had to wait 50 minutes before the kids food arrived. They were getting a bit tetchy by then. Our food arrived about 10 minutes later. I had Pork fillet. It was well cooked but possibly a bit too arty fartily presented for my liking. On Recommandation we went to dinner in Macphunns Bar in the Creggans Inn.We had the burgers and the plate with mussles and white fish.The meals were extraordinary. Neatly located- and we got lucky with a little sundowner at the end by sunshine and warm 20 degrees! Absolut lovely!!!!Vegetarian options: There were a couple on the card.
