10 Burn Ln, La, InverurieWe had a voucher to use so made the most of a day off together midweek to come for lunch (no kids)\n\nDespite being Wednesday lunchtime it was busy enough so still a good atmosphere. I was very impressed with the menu and the service was great. \n\nMy husband has the fish and chips and I had the Thai chicken “salad” which was delicious!\n\nWould definitely recommend. \n\nClaire \n@eastontravel709

Rajpoot Indian Restaurant
36 W High St, InverurieThere are two Indian restaurants with yards of one another. Last time we got a take away from the other restaurant and couldn’t have faulted it. This time we went to Rajpoot and were disappointed with the quality of the salad. The lettuce was brown, the cucumber slimy and carrots cut so long ago they were turning white. I brought this to the attention of the restaurant but didn’t receive an acknowledgment let alone a response. \n\nThe last time we ordered a take away from Rajpoot the chicken tandoori it smelled so fishy there’s no way we’d even try it. Again this was brought to the attention of the restaurant and was ignored. \n\nWe had to pay an online service charge to order online and collect. Seemingly if we’d phoned the order in we wouldn’t have had the charge added. \n\nNo mango chutney accompanied the poppadoms. However dips that did were tasty. The rotten salad put us off trying the spiced onions. \n\nWe had a selection of starters which were really good. The two spicy curries we had were as described and the keema rice was lovely. The best bit of the meal was the garlic naan once it had been reheated in the air fryer. It had gone soggy in the bag. \n\nThankfully none of us were unwell. We’ll be going to the other take away next time as we have real concerns over the freshness of the food.

We were all really impressed with the quantity and quality of the food, it was all fresh, the salad was really fresh and the chicken was really tasty too. The fries were also lovely! The tacos were just perfect. We were just visiting, but will most definitely order again if we are back in this area. Would highly recommend :)

The Montgomerie Restaurant
Davah Wood, Blackhall Rd, InverurieWe booked in advance on website for the Father’s Day carvery. We all 4 of us had carvery. Food was really good and amazing value for money. Service was quick but the servers had no knowledge whatsoever, perhaps a bit of training will resolve this, otherwise 5 star for the price and good food. I met the chef (a Forsyth) and he was great and chatty.

Cardamom Indian Takeaway
9 Station Rd, Kemnay, InverurieWe’ve been coming to cardamom Kemnay for years and their food is consistently fantastic! We don’t live in Kemnay but do the 20 min drive as it is well worth it.the food is authentic and Delicious - can highly recommend!
To top it all, The guys are always super friendly. Full marks all round!

Really nice guy, was very patient with us.We got two 12 inch subways, (tuna melt and cheese steak) both where very fresh even though we came by almost at closing time. They also do an excellent steak with chips, mushrooms, tomato, onion rings and salad. Mine was cooked as requested and enjoyed very much. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

7 Constitution St, InverurieOrdered from Elims app for dinner last night. The weather was horrible, but the order was delivered in time and was hot and fresh. Highlight for me was the Chicken Iskender, I'd never had one before and it was great. Deserving of a mention was the salad, it was clearly freshly made and the pickles were amazing.

I did try some of their other jams at Turriff show last year. My chilli jam is finished so I am ordering more and maybe some grapefruit gin marmalade. Thank you for creating such tasty preserve!

Victoria House, Blackhall Rd, InverurieWe are regular visitors to Aberdeen for concerts and shows so Inverurie is a great place to stop. This was our 1st visit to The Drouthy Laird after a recommendation and it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in every member of staff we had dealings with were very professional, polite and welcoming. The decor is lovely, the food was amazing and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend a visit to The Drouthy Laird.

Daviot, InverurieFabulous wee pub, found it purely by chance but will return now I know it's there. The locals were very friendly and dogs are welcome. Water bowl inside the bar for your thirsty four legged friend. Highly recommended. PS The village name is pronounced DAVIT not DaviOT as its written. Learnt this the hard way ?

Highclere Business Park, Highclere Way, InverurieI went last Friday at about half 9. Staff were obviously very busy in the takeaway but went above and beyond to forfill my order. I also noticed some customers who were quite rude to dtaff. The staff were incredibly professional and took their time to ensure food was at high standard even when they were being put under considerable pressure.
A wonderful and inviting place to eat and I look forward to the food every time I go.

W High St, InverurieLove going to places like this. Makes me feel that I am contributing to society. Nice airy, spacious seating. Feels very welcoming. Menu not huge, soup, 3 kinds, sandwich/toastie, pudding and cakes. We opted for the soup and premium sandwich combo. £10.50. nice hot bowl of Cullen broth, which was tasty, well seasoned and lots of tatties, coronation chicken sandwich, which was well ed, really tasty and had fruit in it. Volunteers were friendly and chatty. Would go back again.
