The Parlour
Kames Cottage, Brodick, Isle of ArranAfter a long day, we popped down the road to see what was available for dinner & 'The Parlour' was open so we decided pizza was tonight's choice. We ordered our pizza with the very friendly staff member at the window who was informative about their food and generally very friendly. 4 pizzas, 2 portions of chips.... Outstanding. Food was incredible.
Even enjoyed an ice cream on the way back home! Very very nice!
Highly recommend The Parlour! Thank you!

Machrie Bay Golf Club & Community Tuck Shop
A841, Isle of ArranDifficult 9 holes. May appear short but some holes where it’s easy to have a howler .
Very nice condition, good fairways. Very enjoyable and big shout out to the greenkeeper, Willie. Who was on hand to offer advice and tell some history and a really nice man who is passionate about golf and brining people to Mauchrie golf course.
Total gentleman of a man. Lucky to have him

The Wineport Restaurant
Cladach, BrodickNice location and ambience with a real fire, very welcome in late December. Food nice too but expensive. Cullen skink £14.95 was only average by W Scotland standards and smaller amount that on previous visits. Likewise desserts and very ordinary coffee. Added a star for the service: friendly and prompt.

Lochranza Country Inn
Lochranza, Isle of ArranWe didn’t stay, just came in for some dinner and a few drinks. We were so thankful this place was open as there’s not much else around. We had mac & cheese and a Lochranza burger, both were amazing, best meals we had on the island. Staff were so friendly, offered to fill our thermos up when they heard we were camping and checked with the ferry workers in the pub that our ferry would still be running in the morning. Staff were so hospitable. Bustling wee pub, not surprised.

Blackwaterfoot Lodge
Blackwaterfoot, Isle of ArranWe had the most lovely stay here in early April 2022, with three adults and two kids for a few days, to have our first glance at the Isle of Arran. We will definitely come back here, as we were as unlucky with the weather that the ferry might not even depart. But the owner of the B&B was already aware of that when he welcomed us to his lovely place.Even though the restaurant was not open yet, he offered us my very first and most delicious fish and chips for dinner. I think I will be ruined for ever with too high expectations. Also he offered a second meal option if one of us would like the have something different and lit the fireplace every evening for us. So we could enjoy the evenings by the fire, whilst outside the rain and storm were fighting each other. He gave us very nice tips for exploring the Isle, let us taste on of the Whiskeys he had in stock and was taking care that we are fine all time. So I really enjoyed the stay, and can only give my warmest recommendations for this charismatic place and his lovely owner.

Burlington Guest House
Shore Road, Isle of ArranWe had a wonderful stay. Check-in is so easy with your room code left in an envelope on a table in reception. You also complete your preferred time for breakfast and pre-order your breakfast, which is a great time saver if you have an early ferry to catch. The room was very comfortable and the dolce gusto was a great touch. Full Scottish breakfast was delicious and the haggis was great. The guesthouse is right on the beach. The view makes the stay very special.

Indian Garden
Lamlash, Isle of ArranStayed in lamlash beginning of April. We decided to try the Indian garden, which is now called the spice garden I believe. We had starters, prawn madras which was very hot & spicey which I like. My partner had the chefs special treat which is sweet with pineapple & spicey. Never tried this combination before & it was Absolutely delicious. Food is cooked fresh & the staff are very polite. Don't be put off by the building as it doesn't look much from the outside. You won't be disappointed.

The Lighthouse
Pirnmill, Isle of ArranMyself, my husband and two daughters dined here on a beautiful Saturday evening. Great menu with something for all tastes. Warm welcome on entering, water provided and the two ladies who were serving made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We all enjoyed our meals, very generous portions and all the meals came out steaming hot. Lots of local produce used; my meal was locally sourced pheasant stuffed with haggis, with mash potato, whiskey and peppercorn sauce and a big bowl of beautifully cooked veg. Absolutely delicious! Home made desserts followed and my lemon tart was divine. Superb service, superb food and an exceptional dining experience all around. Would recommend it! Prices as expected for locally sourced, home cooked food.
