The Sandwich Station
A841, Isle of ArranNot your average sandwich shop, found it hard to choose, but decided upon the hot smoked salmon on brown seeded bread. It was delicious. A bit more expensive than other sandwich shops and bakeries but this is reflected in the quality of the fillings. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

The Parlour
Kames Cottage, Brodick, Isle of ArranAfter a long day, we popped down the road to see what was available for dinner & 'The Parlour' was open so we decided pizza was tonight's choice. We ordered our pizza with the very friendly staff member at the window who was informative about their food and generally very friendly. 4 pizzas, 2 portions of chips.... Outstanding. Food was incredible.
Even enjoyed an ice cream on the way back home! Very very nice!
Highly recommend The Parlour! Thank you!

Café Thyme
Machrie, Isle of Arran⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Wonderful Experience at Café Thyme, Arran
Café Thyme is a true gem on the Isle of Arran. From the moment we arrived, the 5-star service stood out — warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. The food was delicious, freshly prepared, and full of flavour, with something for everyone to enjoy. What really made the experience extra special were the stunning views surrounding the café — the perfect backdrop for a relaxing meal. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Arran!

The Stags Pavilion
Lochranza, Isle of ArranLovely lunch/breakfast menu and homebaked cakes. Everything I tried tasted just as if they were prepared from scratch -- if it is raspberry cake, the jam and the sponge both tasted as if home made. Locally sourced mussels were exceptionally good! They also sell frozen meals for take away, too.

The Coffee Pot
Shore Road, Isle of ArranPopped in pretty much as it opened on a Friday morning and whilst the hot chocolate and big slab of chocolate cake were delicious and the staff were nice, the service was incredibly slow. Not a place to quickly pop into whilst waiting for a bus! Perhaps we were unlucky and it was unusually busy. ?

Machrie Bay Golf Club & Community Tuck Shop
A841, Isle of ArranA fantastic tearoom, in a brilliant location. The menu was extensive and the service was excellent, prompt, friendly and professional. Being half way round the coast road of Arran, on the West Coast, it is a perfect venue for breakfast, coffee, lunch or an evening meal or takeaway. What a find, I highly recommend for everyone who loves good food in a great location.

The Wineport Restaurant
Cladach, BrodickJust called in for a drink. Reasonable choice but some are quite expensive, so choose carefully if budget matters. Had a nice bench outside in the sun. Would recommend a visit.

The Lighthouse
Pirnmill, Isle of ArranMyself, my husband and two daughters dined here on a beautiful Saturday evening. Great menu with something for all tastes. Warm welcome on entering, water provided and the two ladies who were serving made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We all enjoyed our meals, very generous portions and all the meals came out steaming hot. Lots of local produce used; my meal was locally sourced pheasant stuffed with haggis, with mash potato, whiskey and peppercorn sauce and a big bowl of beautifully cooked veg. Absolutely delicious! Home made desserts followed and my lemon tart was divine. Superb service, superb food and an exceptional dining experience all around. Would recommend it! Prices as expected for locally sourced, home cooked food.

Lochranza Country Inn
Lochranza, Isle of ArranDinner and San Miguel on a gorgeous sunny night when this place was choca - the staff were great and so was my Mac and cheese with chips. My other half had the burger and chips and we were entertained by the live music provided by the local musicians. Beautiful place and friendly hardworking people. Highly recommend.

Indian Garden
Lamlash, Isle of ArranStayed in lamlash beginning of April. We decided to try the Indian garden, which is now called the spice garden I believe. We had starters, prawn madras which was very hot & spicey which I like. My partner had the chefs special treat which is sweet with pineapple & spicey. Never tried this combination before & it was Absolutely delicious. Food is cooked fresh & the staff are very polite. Don't be put off by the building as it doesn't look much from the outside. You won't be disappointed.

Burlington Guest House
Shore Road, Isle of ArranLovely clean room with sea view. Very comfortable bed and excellent shower and lovely towels. Black out curtains would be good for the early sunrise but then I would not have had a picture opportunity. Breakfast excellent, hosts could not have been any more attentive. Duncan was full of knowledge knowing the island very well. Will definitely be back.
