Visited this quaint little bar on our way to the ferry. The location is amazing, right on the Loch front. We ordered the fish stew and the wild mushroom spaghetti for lunch which were absolutely delicious. The barmaid ( Andrea I think) was super welcoming and very friendly. We would definitely visit again in the future if in the area. The only slight issue is that we couldn't eat outside but that didn't affect our experience at all.

Lovely little spot. Very friendly staff especially Andrea who chatted with us for ages, very pleasant lady. We didn’t order food on this occasion but I wish we had as looked very good. We will definitely be back on our next visit and hopefully Andrea will be working.

Amazing place hidden behind the Hotel Eilean Larmain. Staff warm welcoming, with little words in French from the barman. Place is authentic with an pub atmosphere calling form a local beer drink. Food is excellent whatever the selection (all the client around us congratulate the staff). An excellent moment !

Am Praban is as good as ever, has never let us down in all of our visits- and we are here every other month. The staff are incredible (Cornelius is the best host!), and the food (this time Cullen skink, langoustines and two kids meals) were amazing! The food, the staff and the place is always absolutely top notch- highly recommended! 5* all the way. Phil, Gemma and family

Small. So authentic. Rustic food. Crusty bartenders. Laughter everywhere. The Schiehallion Lager slides down very, very nicely.

Our family of 9, ages 11 months to 70, had just gotten off the ferry to Sky and were traveling north. Our daughter spotted this place from signs along the road. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the most wonderful host/owner/slash bartender and he seated us immediately. The fresh catch of the day was langostinos - sweetest ever! The others enjoyed fresh steamed mussels, wonderful fish and chips, and homemade Mac and cheese. Bread was so tasty we ordered extra. And the strawberry ice cream was the freshest ever. Needless to say, we all walked away satiated and satisfied. If you’re ever in the area, don’t miss it!

This was a wonderful little restaurant with outstanding food. Well above what we had expected. The staff/hosts were friendly and accomodating.

Much better than a typical pub dinner. An interesting menu heavily favoring local food (seafood and meat) and local dishes. They helped us enthusiastically for the member of our party who was vegan. Great vibe with the locals in the pub. I believe the food here and in the hotel dining room comes from the same kitchen - really a good choice. If the weather is nice, enjoy a pint from the tables by the bay. The property also has an art gallery, a distillery, and a fabric shop. The hotel has a few rooms for the night as well. Well run operation.

I emailed the hotel in advance of our trip to Skye for dinner reservations. They replied quickly and explained they offer reservations at the restaurant or you can eat at the bar without reservations and recommended arriving early. Three of us arrived to the bar around 5 pm on a Thursday and were told they were not yet serving food. We didn’t mind having a pint first. The ambiance is warm and friendly and seems like a mix of locals and tourists (like us). We enjoyed the various dogs and their people who sat at the bar or tables. We ordered an appetizer, plus fish and chips and the mushroom pappardelle. Everything was very good. Our desserts of sticky toffee pudding, pear crumble and lemon crème brûlée were fabulous. The bartenders and waitstaff were friendly and added to a great experience.

We were camping nearby and needed somewhere for dinner and saw this hotel was dog friendly in the bar. We were really warmly welcomed by the waitress who talked us through the menu as well as the specials. We both went for the venison and sticky toffee pudding which were both out of this world, the best meal we had on our Scottish holiday. Would 100% recommend and can’t wait to go back.

(Translated by Google) Delicious food and a good story that the meat comes from the estate. Price quality good! Cosiest pub in the area too.(Original)Heerlijk gegeten en een goed verhaal er bij dat het vlees van de estate afkomstig is. Prijs kwaliteit goed! Gezelligste pub in de omgeving ook.

We drove down here from skeabost as part of our day trip and we're absolutely famished. This place had great reviews and we gave it a try. The cozy fireplace and friendly bartender were so inviting we stayed for hours! The food was so incredible. Mum and I shared the special which was a monkfish wrapped in bacon with a parma ham crisp and a leek and potato broth. Highly recommend making a visit as the views from this place are worth visiting. I will be back!
