Uig, Isle of SkyeI'm only reviewing the pub here as we didn't have any rooms. We were there on two evenings: once with live music and once for the pub quiz. Great atmosphere both times, nice happy guests and friendly owners. Gordon, Anna and Hamish are very nice and friendly. The pub is cozy and stylishly decorated. We felt very comfortable! Thank you and continued success!

The Old Inn & Waterfront Bunkhouse
Carbost, Isle of SkyeNice Inn with a very frequented pub. Good food, occasional live music or film events. The food is of good quality with changing daily specials in addition to the normal menu. Mix of local crowd and tourists.Just next door to the Talisker Destillery (300 m). Everything else requires the use of a car. You should be comfortable to navigate 1 track B grade roads to access the Inn.We stayed in one of the B&B rooms, which includes the full breakfast. Coffee and Tea in the room. Nice view over the water. Very friendly staff.I would recommend and also stay again if coming to the island again.Rooms: We had a twin bed room which was of a decent size. The bathroom was simple but adequate (accessible for wheelchairs)Walkability: For most activities, a vehicle is required. Situated on a B road,Food & drinks: Good typical pub menu with daily specials. Plenty of beer and cider on tap. Good collecting of Whisky available.

Caora Dhubh Coffee Company
Carbost, Isle of SkyeEverywhere I travel, I always like to find locally roasted coffee. This place knows exactly how to make good coffee!A small, cute shop that's takeaway only, the beans are roasted up the road. Also offers some homemade cakes.The coffee is top quality and the barista knew how to make a great late! Only wish I could go again!

Loch Bay Restaurant
1 Macleods Terrace, Stein, Isle of SkyeBest dining experience we’ve ever had.Everything about Loch Bay, from the ambiance to the food to the service, is welcoming and well thought out. We’ve now traveled to Skye from the United States on multiple occasions and always stay in the Stein area so that we can walk to Loch Bay for an amazing meal. We hope to continue to visit for years to come.

46 Kilmuir Rd, Isle of SkyeSo glad we stumbled upon Janns cakes when driving through Dunvegan! We had the casserole, coffees & of course had to try the baked goods- the Lemon cake was to die for!!! Best Lemon cake I’ve ever had. We also had the blueberry lemon cake which was also equally delicious! We also had to sample the chocolate made with honey and whisky.. everything we tasted was worth the calories! I love supporting local businesses, especially when the owners are so friendly and welcoming. Next trip out to Skye, we will be returning to this little gem!

Talisker Distillery
Carbost, Isle of SkyeVery informative distillery tour and tasting with Ian. For drivers, they have little bottles in a Talisker box to take your drams from the tasting home- great idea! The visitor centre is very impressive too with a well stocked shop and lovely 'campfire' tasting bar. Distillery is in a beautiful location by Loch Harport and would be worth a visit even without going on the tour. Many thanks Ian and the team for a great experience!

Bed erg klein en zwaar dekbed wat wij persoonlijk niet fijn vinden.Nearby activities: Neist point lighthouse en Dunvegan Castle en nog veel meer op het eiland SkyeFood & drinks: Ontbijt, diner in naast gelegen twee restaurants. Geen probleem om een take away mee te nemen, in de lounge liggen bestek en borden. Zelf je drinken meenemen fris, bier, wijn oid mag allemaal, de glazen staan ook in de lounge.

Old School Restaurant
Dunvegan, Isle of SkyeWe arrived at 3.30pm, Christmas Day, and warmly welcomed. The food was suberb as always; the Beef Wellington was perfection. A lovely Christmassy ambience too. Staff couldn't have been more friendlier and efficient, so a big thank you to each and every one for making it such a special day.

Sleat,, Isleornsay, Isle of SkyeDog friendly. Atmospheric. Super friendly. Lovely art gallery next door. We didn't have food, but it looked good from where we sat. We would go back. There was enough space to park our motorhome out front and for others to still have lots of room to park.

Her B&B is beautiful, with a cute and charming decor and attention to detail. The views over the well manicured garden to the outer hebrides were magical at sunset!The rooms are spacious, and the beds are ultra comfortable (we slept like logs). Aside from that, breakfast was delicious, immaculately presented, and had a lovely view.If you want an authentic stay in Skye, I can't recommend this place enough.

Cafe 1925
Newton Bank, Ardvasar, Isle of SkyeMy wife, mother, and I visited in late September. And following a week of some meat-heavy food options, the freshness and home cooking of Cafe 1925 was enough to almost bring our whole table to tears of joy. Plus, the owner was a delight to talk to. The local crab salad, although priced at £17, is amongst the best salads that I’ve ever had! They need to advertise it more with pictures!
