We dropped in for Sunday Roast-- missed the last of the beef, which was lucky because I got to have the lamb shank, which was just amazing! My wife had a stuffed roast squash. We loved the vibe, the dogs hanging with their owners ("Hi Jura!"), the staff seemed gruff at first, but somehow magically transformed into super nice and friendly. Highly recommended, especially Sunday roast (and Jura-the-local-dog).
Amazing dinner and dito service by Andrea and Andy. Had the best evening and enjoyed' fall of the bone' lamb shanks, heavenly sticky toffee pudding and the best Scotch whisky. Thank you very much for a lovely and fun evening ☺️

This is the perfect spot for dinner and drinks after a day of hiking. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, the food was delicious, and Andrea was extremely kind. And added bonus is the on-site distilled gin. This is a must stop if you’re staying in the area!
