We went as a group of 8 for dinner. The hotel/restaurant is beautiful. The servers were all fantastic but the best part was the food. The pate starter was great. Everyone loved their mains but I will say my cod was exceptional. Desserts were equally amazing. Great dinner.
Good food well presented A lovely touch as it was our golden wedding anniversary the chef presented chocolates on a slate with happy 50th wedding anniversary written in yellow icing.

We made a very late booking and as we had dogs we were seated in the bar. It didn’t matter. The staff were brilliant. The bartender suggested a gin and tonic combination that was exquisite. The manager took our food order and provided attentive service despite us being the only party eating in the bar. We felt like we were the only customers and it felt so intimate. The food was beyond delicious. I can’t wait to come back.
