Visited tonight. First time for a night in Jedburgh and it was great. The pub was so friendly (and even with the obvious tension of a Rangers match) the atmosphere was fantastic. Left to go for a meal, yet after it the entire family voted to go back for a final drink. Can't praise it higher. Compliments to the landlady who was perfect.
Great little pub, very friendly staff who helped us find a meal on a quiet Monday night and booked the table for us. Super handpump pint of Old Speckled Hen. Local music on Monday nights.

Excellent local hostelry with fine range of ales and spirits with a good range of Scotch whiskys, the landlady is most welcoming, the atmosphere is cosy and vibrant, also a local traditional music session on a Mon evening.
