Lovely dog friendly cafe, thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The coffee was the best we've had in Scotland so far and we've enjoyed all so far!! Husband had the quesadilla and I had a sandwich, both very nice. I had the carrot and orange cake which was lovely, especially since it had the cream cheese topping rather than icing (my favourite!). Husband managed to find room for the scotch pancakes which he loved. If we are ever this way again we will definitely be back. The staff were lovely and chatty too, lovely place ?

Changing my original review, after a few not very happy visits. Service- most of the times - slow. Interactions - dryToday our check was "misplaced" and 3 tables that came in much later than we did- got their food. Only after asking where our order was, we were told that the check was misplaced or whatever. As a frequent customer that never complained I find it ridiculous. I would have at minimum expected to be offered some kind of solution to the situation other than 'we are really sorry would you like to wait " we didn't want to wait longer than we already did. We had places to be. Not happy at all.

Couldn’t even eat hereWent in and apart from 1 guy having coffee it was completely empty. We were told to sit at a table for 2 but tbh the table was very small and cramped. When we went to move to one of the ten or so larger empty tables we were told this was not allowed as “ they are a small business doing their best” whatever that means. Left rather than sit at a tiny table surrounded by empty spacious unused tablesAm now sitting in off the square and it’s packed out , I wonder why ?Not the best way to make money I’m afraid and it’ll put me off ever trying the place again.

Lovely coffee shop off the main square in Kelso. A little difficult to get in with our wheelchair but the staff were really helpful and made space for us. Lovely baked goods and coffee, snacks and even a menu for dogs !?Parking: Busy centre so difficult to find street parkingWheelchair accessibility: A step to get in but the door is wide enough and the staff were really helpful

Great spot for lunch. Plenty of interesting options on the menu. Every meal was given a thumbs up. The chai latte was one of the best I have ever had

They were the only ones who were giving marshmallows with hot choc at the time we came to town. The hot choc was not impressive and cold rather. The coffee was good.

Seemed a nice place. Not busy so sat at a larger table away from others as we had a fidgety dog. We were asked (politely) if we would move to a table for two, even though there were several tables free and we only wanted a quick drink. Unfortunately the table was right at the back, near the kitchen and toilet - my least favourite place to sit! The constant stream of staff made the dog really fidgety so we drank up and left ASAP, The coffees and scones were lovely. We had planned to return for lunch but decided against it and drive home.

Very nice selection of cakes etc. Good coffee's too. Dog friendly if you have furry friends.?
