Booked in for the Saturday night 21st Oct 23, had such a wonderful time in the bar with the amazing staff and locals, I decided to stay an other 2 nights, the owner is always on hand and his personality sets the mood for the whole place to be such a wonderful place to spend time getting to know the locals and enjoy a laugh together, the atmosphere is very friendly. Perfect overnight stay, to explore Kelso. Comfortable bed and a warm shower, in a characterful hotel, right in the heart of the city. A very warm welcome at check in, with great sightseeing tips by the hotel owners too. If you’re traveling by bus, this is the most convenient place to stay, as the bus drops you off near the front of the hotel entrance, and the bus depot is just behind the hotel. Stayed here by myself and i can say i did have a lovely night. Nice and decent hotel. Friendly staff. Though quality of food could be better and improved. A quiet place to stay in - all the basic things you will need are already there. For the price and the location, I couldn’t ask for more. Good service.
