The Kings Arms is a great local pub with a nice pint. The food is on another level, often specials are on and it's always been the best place to eat locally. Dog and kid friendly.
We have now visited twice in two weeks for lunch. The menu offers a great choice and there is always a daily special. The atmosphere is very much a traditional village pub. Totally unpretentious and very welcoming. Also dog friendly. There is garden for sunny days. The food is excellent and well presented. Service is efficient and very friendly. Portions are a good size - no leaving hungry! You can ask for a “doggie bag”.

Fenwick is fortunate to have this place - the quality of the food is superior to that of pubs in Glasgow. The a la carte mains are restaurant quality and substantial with the 3 for £15 small plates being scaled down versions of the same quality at great value. 20 minutes from the city centre on an X76 bus if you don't want to drive.
