Take away cash only business. Usual front room with counter with kitchen in a separate room behind the counter. People behind the counter friendly & professional. Food good and they have a varied menu. I phone in my order & its normally ready when I get there. If you drop in they have a TV on that you can watch it normally has sub titles on. Regular visitors, 1-2 occasions the food has been overcooked in 10 years, once with duck and again with sweet and sour dish, the rice can be dry but we choose fried rice, I guess it is what it is. We’ve tried other Chinese takeouts which are more expensive for the same quality food. I've been using the Peking Star for years and have deviated to other Chinese takeways always to return! The food is always top notch - have never had a bad meal from here regardless of what has been ordered.
