My partner and I often have takeaways from here but we had a family meal in the restaurant for his birthday and had such a great experience. The staff were very friendly and happy to answer any questions or advise on dishes. The owner helped us choose our food and regularly checked in to make sure we were enjoying our meal. The portion sizes were perfect and the food delicious. I felt well catered for as a vegan. The restaurant is no longer Spice Route and has gone back to Balbir’s.

Owned by Balbier, this is Indin cuisine at its best. Reopened after lockdown, Spice Route is as good as ever, if not better.Has a great menu which suits the majority of customers, a lovely welcome and informative service, explaining the dishes and specialities.Also has a banquet option and meal deals for two.If you like Indian cuisine, I would highly recommend you give Spice Route a go, for me it's five stars all the way ?.

Another fabulous meal at Spice Route 77 this evening. Food is fresh and delicious and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere with warm, welcoming staff.Vegetarian options: There was a good selection of vegetarian options too!Parking: Loads of parking on two levels.Dietary restrictions: The owner was very helpful, personally going through the menu for lactose free options with me.
